Recently featured on the CBS show Staycation! Ventana Cove was custom built to provide the perfect desert vacation. The living space features an open plan design with a plush low line sofa and a bright wingback chair that sit opposite the wall mounted 55" 4K TV with access to Netflix, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video to keep everyone entertained. For additional guests, the sofa can fold down to create a sleeping space as well as a queen size air mattress that can be provided upon request. Slide open the bifold window to create an indoor-outdoor bar where you can serve up breakfast smoothies using the ninja blender or brew up a pot of coffee with your choice of a coffee maker or the French press using local aromatic Joshua Tree Coffee Company and tea. Create your next culinary masterpiece within the high-end gourmet kitchen that comes fully equipped with everything you could need and offers stunning views of the mountains while you cook. There is an oversize French door fridge with a filtered water and ice dispenser, a free-standing oven and stovetop, a microwave and a dishwasher to handle all the cleaning up. Dine inside at the modern dining table set for four, sit at the bar or eat alfresco style out on the patio with a rustic dining table under the retractable canopy to keep you out of the sun. There are three spacious bedrooms within the cove that are all separate from each other and feature huge “La Cantina” door walls that open out into the patio creating a seamless flow from one room to the other. Each of the bedrooms have their own private ensuite bathroom with luxurious rain fall showers and vanities stocked with all the essentials. The two master suites are filled with large memory foam king beds topped with hotel quality linen and bedding while the 3rd bedroom doubles as a studio where guests can roll out the ping pong table or open up the massive glass garage door to create the perfect space for a workout or to practice yoga. Then at night, drop down the comfortable memory foam queen size murphy bed for a restful night’s sleep. Wander over to the elevated lounge deck with its inviting hanging chairs. Take a dip in the cool cowboy tub with stunning panoramic views of the mountains, then take a nap or read a book on of the relaxing hammocks under the shade of the Joshua trees. After you book your reservation, I will send you a hot tub and amenities waiver to digitally sign. It must be signed prior to check-in. Pet fee is $25 per pet per night (included in the booking fee when pets are added to the reservation). Extra Guests after 4 are $25 per guest per night. Full cost is reflected in the booking rate when total guests and pets on the reservation is correct.

Ventana Cove is situated in one of the most desirable neighborhoods "on the mesa" in Yucca Valley near the border of Joshua Tree. This perfect central location is only 15 minutes to the picturesque Joshua Tree National Park where you can rock climb over 8,000 established climbing routes, go hiking, horse-riding, join in on a ranger talk, go biking, stargazing or just pack your camera and capture the unique landscape and wildlife that the park has to offer. Visit Pioneertown, a 1940’s Old West movie set where more than 50 films and TV series were shot. See the frontier stables, saloons, and jails while inside there was ice cream parlors, bowling alleys, and motels. More than 50 films and television shows were filmed at the town in the 1940s and ‘50s and is now home to live music, mock gun fights and delicious food at Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace. Head to the Yucca Valley Town with many small, unique shops filled with antiques and gift items, visit one-of-a-kind restaurants and drop into local the cafe to get your latte or espresso with a homemade sandwich or croissant.

The best way to get around the Yucca Valley is by car with a 2-car covered car port that keeps your vehicle cool in the heat as well as additional parking in the large circle driveway. 15 Minutes to Joshua Tree National Park, 15 minutes to Pappy and Harriet's, and 10 Minutes to many shops and restaurants in downtown Yucca Valley. There are 0.5 miles of dirt roads to travel to get to the property. No 4WD is required. Any car can pass.
